While pursuing her law degree, Amy worked as both an extern and intern at Holzer Patel Drennan. As an intern, Amy gained experience in patent prosecution in a variety of technical fields, including mechanical devices, consumer products, materials science, and telecommunications. Additionally, she has experience in trademark prosecution, non-disclosure agreements, copyright registration and protection, and intellectual property licensing. While attending law school, Amy also worked as an innovation fellow at the University of Colorado’s technology transfer office. As a student at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, Amy served as an Assistant Managing Editor for the Denver Law Review and conducted research regarding patent subject matter eligibility in the field of personalized medicine.
